Kerlly owner of Body Contrology Lab

Meet the Owner/Founder

Kerlly

I discovered Pilates as a teenage dancer and it quickly became the backbone of everything I pursued—the method that gave me strengthstability, and control. I began my classical pilates training in the Romana lineage at Endurance Pilates under Julie Erickson, becoming a 4th-generation classical instructor in 2017. I continue to further my knowledge by mentoring with Carrie Russo and consistently training with Mejo Wiggin, both 2nd generation Romana-lineage teachers. I have also received my nationally recognized PMA certification.

Alongside my movement career, I became a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant— which gives me a medical foundation that deepens my understanding of anatomy and physiology and naturally informs how I teach. This medical and anatomical knowledge is especially helpful when clients present with prenatal/postnatal concerns, disc herniations, joint replacements, etc.

I am especially interested in working with athletes and dancers who want to improve performance, cross train to balance out the body and learn about biomechanics. Additionally I enjoy working with pregnant clients who wish to maintain pelvic girdle and powerhouse strength and workout safely with a personalized pilates practice.

When I moved to Jupiter, FL and realized there was no fully equipped Gratz studio offering the complete classical system, I knew it was time to build one. That vision became Body Contrology Lab. My mission is to help students truly feel the method—developing refined posture, balanced strength, and a more elevated, conscious way of moving in the spirit of Joseph Pilates’ original intention for whole-body health.

Our Team

NOW HIRING

Body Contrology Lab is seeking classically trained Pilates instructors who are passionate about preserving the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ original method and using the classical apparatus (Gratz, Pilates Designs, Legacy, Contrology). Our Jupiter studio is fully equipped with Gratz apparatus and dedicated to teaching true Contrology — where each movement, spring, and sequence honors the genius of the system.

We’re looking for instructors who teach with precision, presence, and respect for the classical order — professionals who see Pilates as both an art and a discipline. If you are committed to the authentic lineage of Contrology and wish to share that knowledge in a thoughtfully designed, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Please schedule an interview to inquire about teaching opportunities and join us in preserving the legacy of Classical Pilates in South Florida.
